The
province of Enna comprises twenty cities
and covers an area of 2,562.13 square
kilometres. As much as other Sicilian
provinces, this is one of great
historical, artistical and cultural
interest that resulted, notably in the
last decades, in a considerable tourism
development. Much renowned are the
events taking place in the Easter Week,
which attest to the city’s abiding
Christian faith. The province boasts a
renowned cuisine as well with various
traditional delicious dishes such as the
Pasta con la coratella, the Zuppa d’uovo
nell’acqua di Pietraperzia, the Pasta di
San Giuseppe, the Carciofi alla
villanella and the Guastedde ennesi. |
