Province of Caltanissetta

The province comprises twenty-two cities totalling an extension of 2,128.20 square kilometres. Caltanissetta is much frequented by tourists, notably over Easter period, here celebrated with a series of long-waited events such as two processions taking place on Maundy Wednesday and Thursday this one known as the Procession delle Vare.
